    Handspun Mitered Afghan Squares
One of the women on the Phat Fiber Ravelry forum inspired me with her own similar project,  to knit my spindle spun contributor samples into mitered afghan squares.

This is the perfect project for me! I love making small, repetitive pieces that travel easily and give me some instant gratification, but that are assembled into one impressive whole project.

Why did I not think myself, and sooner? I grew up sewing scrap quilts with my grandmother, so this definitely touches a special place in my heart. Plus the little skeins and little squares are so cute! ::dance of excitement and joy::
