    mskimknits:

Just finished spinning this beautiful worsted weight yarn! The superwash merino top is from lladyllamafiberco and took me three weeks to spin on my drop spindle.  168 yards in total.

mskimknits made such beautiful handspun from my hand dyed fiber! Possibly my favorite thing in this world is seeing what people create from my fiber and yarn!!

Consequently if you head over to my Ravelry group and share your customer photo you do get a little coupon code as a thank you. ;)

TdF14 Rest Day 1 progress: I decided to dye the faux cashmere I spun to ply with my Curl batt. I used my Niddy Nøsty to wind the singles into a mini skein for dyeing.

TdF14 Day 10 progress: Spun my 2oz. Curl batt in “The Mermaiden’s Song”. I spun this somewhat chunky to accentuate the locks. I wanted to thread ply this but didn’t have what I wanted on hand so instead I spun some undyed faux cashmere quite thin to ply with this.

Next on the wheel. One of my Curl batts in “The Mermaiden’s Song”.

This is hand dyed and carded SW Merino, bamboo, nylon, firestar and some amazing Wensleydale/Costwold X lambs locks.

The locks I purchased as raw fleece from a fellow vendor at the CNY Fiber Festival last year and I was so happy with them that I bought another pound of or so at this year’s show. The bag is sitting on my dyeing table looking at me seductively as it waits to be washed and dyed.
